Frequently Asked Questions

How do I log in to my account in the catalog?

Select "Log In" in the upper right hand corner. Enter in your library card number and your password. Passwords are case sensitive, and can be a combination of capital letters, lowercase letters, and characters if desired.

Will my password change?

Grayslake patron passwords will migrate over as their current value. For example, a password of "1234" will migrate to PowerPAC as "1234".
Palatine patron passwords will migrate as the last four digits of the phone number on file. For example, a password of "ILoveMyLibrary" will reset to the last four digits of the patron's phone number. For all other libraries passwords wil migrate over as their current value.

What will happen to my reciprocal library account at the Grayslake or Palatine library?
